BlogOne file, not eight crops

One file should not be cropped eight times

You can design an icon.

You cropped the same logo in Figma, then mipmaps, then AppIcon.appiconset. By the third pack the filenames already disagree.

Zapicon’s loop: drop one source, sit it on the canvas, tick platforms, export a ZIP. Folders are already split. You do not memorise twenty sizes first.

Zapicon · Eight platforms
icons.zip8 / 8
iOSappiconset
Androidmipmap
macOSICNS
WindowsICO
Webfavicon
Tauri / Flutter / WXTproject

Only selected platforms are generated. After export, open the folder.

Three steps tonight

Do not start with a brand system. Export the app you are shipping.

  1. Install on macOS or Windows. PNG / JPG / WEBP / SVG. 512 px or larger helps. See Quick start.
  2. Drop the file. Pick a preset or only size and padding. If the preview reads, go next.
  3. Tick platforms and export. The ZIP holds iOS AppIcon.appiconset, Android mipmaps, macOS PNG + ICNS, Windows ICO, Web favicons, Tauri, Flutter, and WXT icon/16.png … 128.png.

After export you can open the folder. Do not hunt in Finder.

The third time you cropped it, or you can already see Flutter next week, use the generator. Do not invent ten custom platforms for a game you might ship.

One source, not eight projects

Platforms read paths and sizes, not your layer names. Eight built-in packs cover desktop, mobile, and extensions. Internal names go through platform config.

Only selected platforms are generated. That started with the License release.

Free is enough to close the loop

Free exports all eight platforms. AI 4× is free. Pro is volume: 25 presets, matte, batch, edit built-in paths. See Free vs Pro.

Do not

  • Do not treat canvas size as export size. 512 / 1024 / 2048 is preview only.
  • Do not redraw per platform first. Export, then fix the one size that fails.
  • Do not use an online converter. The file stays here. See local processing.

Next: sit it on the canvas, see the device.
