Same icon on Home Screen, Dock, and a browser tab. Keys 1 / 2 / 3.
What each view is for
iPhone. Will it vanish next to neighbours? Open Apple guides.
MacBook. Dock rounded-rect. macOS is squarer than iOS. Large ICNS may hold detail; small sizes must still read.
Web. The tab favicon. 16 and 32 are a different exam. Leave detail in 180 / 512.
Keys: 1 iPhone, 2 MacBook, 3 Web. See shortcuts.
Canvas 512 / 1024 / 2048 only changes preview cost, not ZIP sizes.
Do not
- Do not sign off on 2048 alone.
- Do not treat Web preview as a real browser. It is scale, not an engine.
- Do not ignore 16 px. Blurry taskbar is composition plus ICO quality.
