Whiten, blacken, and cutout rewrite the source

The status bar does not want a full-colour logo.

Dark mode, mono templates, and small Windows sizes often need a readable cut. Since 2025-12-24 the preview has whiten / blacken / cutout.

What each does

Whiten. Glyph goes white. Alpha stays. Use on a dark fill.

Blacken. The reverse. Light fills and print drafts.

Cutout. Subtract the glyph from the fill so the background shows through. Not a white outline.

These rewrite the current source. Restore if you hate it. Export uses the processed file.

If the source has junk behind it, matte locally first. Reverse the order and the hole bites dirty edges.

Do not

• Do not read cutout as “emit every template automatically”. It is a treatment. Platform folders still follow export config.
• Do not tap three times on a colour brand and forget restore. The original is still behind Restore.
• Do not use whiten instead of contrast. 16 px may still fail — device preview.
