Theme Presets

Theme presets let you apply a complete icon style in one click. A preset stores icon size, rotation, corner radius, padding, offset, and background settings together.

Built-in presets

Zapicon ships with 25 built-in presets covering common platform styles and visual moods:

• iOS / Apple style — Squircle shape, generous padding, gradient background.
• Android / Material style — larger icon size, subtle padding, bold color.
• macOS / Big Sur style — rounded rectangle with depth and gradient.
• Minimal / Square — clean edges, solid background, no extra effects.
• Playful / Rounded — high corner radius, soft gradients.
• Professional / Dark — dark gradient background, high contrast.

Free users can use the first 4 built-in presets. Pro users unlock all 25.

Applying a preset

1. Open the Theme Presets panel in the editor.
2. Scroll through the preset grid.
3. Click a preset to apply it.
4. Fine-tune the controls afterward if needed.

Note: Applying a preset replaces your current icon settings but does not change the source image.

Custom presets

Custom presets let you save your own look for reuse across projects.

Save a custom preset

1. Adjust the icon to the desired style.
2. Click Save as Preset in the Theme Presets panel.
3. Give it a memorable name.

Manage custom presets

• Hover over a custom preset to edit its name or delete it.
• Custom presets sync with your local app data.

Limits

Pro tip

Create a custom preset for each app brand. When you need to generate seasonal or promotional variants, start from the brand preset and change only the background color.
