Activate Pro
Choose the activation path that matches where you downloaded Zapicon.
Official installer / Microsoft Store — CDKey
The Windows website installer and the Microsoft Store build share this path:
- Buy a CDKey on the official website.
- Open Zapicon → Settings → License.
- Enter the CDKey and click Activate.
- The license binds to the current machine.
Microsoft Store does not sell Pro as a Microsoft IAP. The listing is free to get. Pro still uses the website CDKey.
Transfer or unbind
- On the old device, open Settings → License → Unbind.
- On the new device, enter the same CDKey.
If the old device is gone, contact support with the CDKey and purchase receipt.
Mac App Store — In-app purchase
- Open Zapicon.
- Go to Settings → License, or click any Pro feature.
- Complete the purchase through Apple.
- The purchase is tied to your Apple ID.
Restore with Restore Purchases after reinstalling.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| CDKey not accepted | Check typos and extra spaces. Confirm the key matches the channel. |
| Already activated on another device | Unbind the old device or contact support. |
| No in-app purchase on Windows Store | Expected. Use a website CDKey. |
| License lost after reinstall | Re-enter the CDKey. Mac App Store users restore purchases. |
