Welcome to Zapicon (hereinafter referred to as “the Software”). By using the Software, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Software Features

The Software is an app icon generator tool providing the following features:

1.1 Icon Editing Features

  • Visual Editing: Adjust icon size, rotation, corner radius, padding, position offset
  • iOS Squircle: Support for iOS-style superellipse corners
  • Gradient Background: Solid color and gradient background options
  • Design Guidelines: Alignment and layout references

1.2 Theme Preset Features

  • Built-in Themes: 20 preset themes (Free version: first 4)
  • Custom Presets: Save and reuse your theme configurations (Free: 1, Pro: unlimited)

1.3 Export Features

  • Supported Platforms: iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Web, Tauri, Flutter
  • Output Formats: PNG, ICO, ICNS auto-generation
  • Custom Platforms: Custom output paths and size configurations

1.4 Preview Features

  • Device Preview: iPhone, MacBook, Web browser simulation

1.5 AI Features

  • AI Upscale: Runs locally, intelligent image upscaling
  • AI Background Removal: Based on RMBG-1.4 model, runs locally, one-click background removal (Pro version)

1.6 Other Features

  • Light/Dark theme toggle
  • Multi-language support (9 languages)

Features may change with version updates, and we reserve the right to modify features.

2. License Grant

2.1 Scope of License

Upon purchasing the Software, you will receive:

  • A non-exclusive license to install and use the Software on the authorized number of devices
  • Software updates during the license validity period
  • Access to technical support services

2.2 License Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or resell the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Remove or modify copyright notices or other proprietary markings
  • Transfer the license to third parties (unless with our written consent)
  • Use the Software for any illegal activities

3. Device Binding

  • Each license allows activation on a specified number of devices
  • You can unbind devices through official channels to switch devices
  • Abuse of the device unbinding feature may result in license revocation

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content

  • You retain intellectual property rights to your uploaded original images
  • Icons generated using this Software belong to you
  • You are responsible for ensuring your uploaded images do not infringe others’ copyrights

4.2 Software Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights in the Software, its interface, built-in themes, icons, and documentation belong to us
  • Built-in theme presets are for use within this Software only and may not be extracted or resold separately
  • Unauthorized use of our trademarks or branding is prohibited

4.3 AI Models

  • The AI Background Removal feature uses the RMBG-1.4 model under its open-source license
  • AI features are limited to use within this Software

5. Local Processing Statement

  • All image processing is done locally on your device
  • Your images are not uploaded to any server
  • We cannot access your original images or exported icon files

6. Disclaimer

6.1 Software Usage

  • The Software is provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties
  • We do not guarantee that the Software will run uninterrupted or be completely error-free
  • We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages caused by using the Software

6.2 AI Features

  • AI upscale and background removal results may vary depending on original image quality
  • No quality guarantees are provided for AI processing results
  • We recommend manually reviewing AI processing results for important projects

6.3 Exported Icons

  • You are responsible for ensuring exported icons comply with each platform’s design guidelines
  • Platform icon requirements may change at any time; we will make efforts to keep up to date

7. License Key Responsibility

  • You are responsible for keeping your license key secure
  • Losses caused by license key disclosure are your responsibility
  • Please contact us immediately if you discover unauthorized use

8. Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or terminate the Software services
  • Update software features and pricing
  • Modify these terms of service

Users will be notified in advance of significant changes.

9. Termination

9.1 User Termination

You may stop using the Software at any time.

9.2 Our Termination

If you violate these terms, we may:

  • Suspend or terminate your license
  • Refuse to provide technical support
  • Take other appropriate legal measures
