Good for logos and product shots you do not want to send to online services.
Background removal — when to use
- Busy or off-brand background
- Subject on a custom gradient or solid color
- Transparent foreground for compositing
Example: team photo against a white wall → cut out and place on a brand gradient.
Upscale — when to use
- Only a small PNG logo from a website
- Screenshot or compressed image too low-res to export
- Need 2048 px output but source is only 512 px
Example: 256×256 favicon asset → upscale to 1024×1024 for an app icon.
Keep expectations realistic
- Missing detail in the original cannot be invented
- Hair, transparency, motion blur → imperfect edges
- First use requires a download; works offline afterward
